Day 49 - All Wyoming, Evanston

Today was likely the most miles we've done in a day on the whole trip! About 450 miles, all in Wyoming, mostly on interstates, with nothing to stop and see! I did not realize central Wyoming was so bleak! I-94 in No. Dakota yesterday and I-25 today were great roads! Smooth and NO traffic. However, once we got to I-80 in Rawlins, WY it was heavy traffic and lots of trucks, albeit 80 mph!

The landscape got a little interesting around Green River with some rock formations, but other than that it was miles and miles of sage brush with lots of antelopes.

This is our SIXTH free night through Choice Hotels!

Home tomorrow! We could keep going, but there's laundry to be done.

Thoughts, Observations and Conclusions

Fifty days, 11,175 miles! WOW! And it all went according to plan - on time and on budget! My favorite places: Medora, ND Bar Harbo...
