Day 21 - Palm Bay, Beach and Zoo

Spent the day with Linda. She has been very gracious with her hospitality and driving us all around. She loves having visitors! Linda is an old friend from our Oneonta days. She's the one who suggested Linda become a church secretary. Her daughter and our daughter are the same age. Linda's husband Dick passed away about a year ago.

We started our day at Melbourne Beach. The weather was perfect - actually not, it was really hot and humid, but the sun was out! So we just walked along the beach getting our pant legs wet with an occasional rogue wave.

For our afternoon adventure, Linda took us to the Brevard County Zoo. Very nice little zoo for a city this size. We didn't have time to see the whole thing, but it was impressive that they take advantage of a natural tropical forest, not man made!

Quick return home to take a quick shower, dinner at Polo Tropical, then $5.00 movie to see Wonder Woman.

Great Photo!!

Thoughts, Observations and Conclusions

Fifty days, 11,175 miles! WOW! And it all went according to plan - on time and on budget! My favorite places: Medora, ND Bar Harbo...
